Dr. Bidhan Koirala is a specialist head and neck cancer surgeon in Nepal, currently serving as Assistant Professor of ENT & Head and Neck Oncosurgery at CMC Cancer Institute, Bharatpur. He completed an advanced Fellowship in Head & Neck Oncosurgery at Tata Medical Centre, Kolkata — one of Asia's leading comprehensive cancer centres — bringing internationally refined surgical techniques back to Nepal.
With over a decade of clinical experience and training across Nepal's premier institutions — including NAMS Bir Hospital and B.P. Koirala Memorial Cancer Hospital — Dr. Koirala specialises in oral cancer surgery, thyroid cancer, laryngeal cancer, neck dissection, and reconstructive oncosurgery. His practice is grounded in evidence-based surgical oncology, with a relentless commitment to nerve-sparing, function-preserving techniques that protect patients' voice, swallowing, and cosmetic outcomes.
